Your First Visit

Our First Meeting

Once we have an accurate understanding of your dental goals and concerns, one of our friendly, experienced hygienists will begin the cleaning and examination. This will ultimately help them determine if further steps – such as X-rays or scans – are necessary in order to reach an accurate diagnosis of your current oral health.

Once all this is finished and we have a clear understanding of both your short and long-term oral health goals, our team will begin creating a personalized treatment plan to plot the steps and procedures necessary to help you obtain the optimal oral health and beautiful smile you deserve.

Things You Should Know Before Your Visit:

Unless you are currently in pain, any and all dental treatments we recommend are entirely elective. Please also keep in mind that, in most cases, there are multiple treatment options available for each and every dental condition, all of which vary in terms of cost, duration, durability, effectiveness, etc.

You can rest assured our caring staff will take as much time as necessary to walk you through the various treatment options while honestly highlighting the pros and cons of each one so you can make a well-informed decision about which one is best for you. Additionally, we promise to always be upfront with you in terms of differentiating procedures that are necessary for your oral health from those that are strictly cosmetic or elective, this way you never feel “tricked” into paying for a procedure you don’t truly “need.”

It’s important that you understand the costs associated with any and all treatments you may be considering, as well as when your payment will be expected.

Please also do not just assume that we accept your dental insurance or that your provider will cover all costs associated with your dental visit and treatments.

If you are unsure if we accept your dental insurance, please do not hesitate to call us or email our office manager, Lindsey. Any questions you may have regarding potential limitations in your dental coverage should be addressed with your provider or employer directly, not with our staff here at Providence Dental Spa.

Because we’re committed to ensuring your dental experience with us is as convenient and hassle-free as possible, we will gladly submit an insurance claim to your provider at no cost to you. From there, your insurance provider will typically provide you with an estimate that details the amount of money you can expect as reimbursement, as well as any costs you will be expected to cover out of pocket. We understand that dental coverage can be difficult to comprehend, so please do not hesitate to contact our office or your insurance company directly should you need additional information.
